Today would be the 145th birthday of my Great Grandfather, Joseph Repinski.
Joseph was born on November 8, 1873 in Chicago, Ill.
His parent were Szymon Repinski & Anna Cysewki
Jospeh moved to Sharon Wisconsin with his parents as an infant and was raised on a farm in Sharon Township. He had one brother, Felix Repinski.
Joseph married Elizabeth Strojk on November 4th, 1896.
Joseph and Elizabeth would go on to have 12 children.

Joseph died on March 20, 1957 in Stevens Point Wisconsin.
While digging through some family photos that my dad inherited, I came across a funeral photo of my Great Grandpa in his casket. He bears such a remarkable resemblance in this state to my dad and his brothers....I can see my dads face in Joseph's face below.....
Some people may think that photographing the deceased is morbid but I feel that it is the one of the greatest things a person can do for their loved ones. I wish I would have taken a photo of my mom in her casket.

He is buried in Guardian Angel Cemetery in that city.

Barb...I just came across your dad's obituary online. His name was Eugene? I think I remember meeting him once. When I was a child my grandpa Clarence took me to visit your grandma Clara and I remember Eugene visiting. There was also a boy named Mickey who was developmentally disabled but had a wonderful innocent soul. I remember your grandmother with fondness....I think my grandpa was closest to Clara of all the siblings.
I take it Seattle is home to you now??
Kjbremer....I don't remember ever meeting your grandfather Loyd but I think I do remember meeting your grandmother Mildred at one of our family reunions.

Eugene Kucy (1914-2002) is my grandfather. He had a total of 3 children. Robert(Bob) Kucy, Dennis (Denny) Kucy (My Dad), and MaryLou Kucy. Not sure who Barb is but not Gene's child.
