I haven't added anything to this blog in a few years but decided today that this site would be the best source to put my findings and family research into some organized format, so that I can share my recent amazing discoveries with my family and friends.
I have always been interested in history, and more so in my own family history.
From my given surname of Repinski, to my mother's maiden name of Deitz/Dietz and on to my paternal grandmothers name of Dulek and to to my maternal grandmothers name of Kosmeder.
A few months ago, as I was working on drawing back on these family lines, I hit a brick wall of sorts and couldn't seem to go back any further than the early to middle 1800s, so I decided to take a stab at my maternal great grandmothers family line of Pope.
It is this line that I shall (along with my other family lines) endeavor to learn as much as possible about and to share with all of my family and friends, the magnitude of what I have discovered in the past few months.
I hope everyone enjoys reading about my family history and heritage as much as I am enjoying discovering this branch of my family history.
